TTMAC offers members an opportunity to borrow over 100 books on such topics as twins, supertwins, pregnancy, childcare and development, breastfeeding, sleep, toilet-training ,siblings and much, much more. Check it out!
The TTMAC newsletter, Multiplicity, is published 10 times a year and is available to members by mail and on-line. Members will read about upcoming events, workshops, tips from members, personal stories and a variety of articles specific to parents of multiples. Members also have the opportunity to submit photos, enter contests and list items for free in the classifieds section.
TTMAC hosts Calgary's largest sale of quality used children's clothing, toys and equipment every Spring and Fall. The sale features thousands of gently used items and provides an our members an opportunity to recycle things their children have out-grown. The Sale doors open to TTMAC Members two-hours prior to the public. *The next sale takes place Sat. Sept. 11 at the Bowness Sportsplex - 7904 43 Ave. N.W.
TTMAC members receive access to special discounts offered by various retailers and service providers from Calgary and the surrounding area. A variety of discounts are available from retails stores and play centers to automotive dealerships, dentists and preschools.
TTMAC hosts a variety of holiday celebrations as well as monthly parental gatherings.
TTMAC offers a wide variety of support to members. There is specialized support in areas such as Breastfeeding, Bottlefeeding, NICU, Bereavement, Special Needs & Medical, and Triplets & More. If members would like to make connections, TTMAC has divided the city and surrounding areas into zones to make it easy for members to meet other parents who live close-by. A variety of sessions and workshops are also available to members, with topics ranging from prenatal to challenges faced when raising multiples.
TTMAC has a variety of equipment available for loan to members including triplet strollers, bumbo seats, nursing pillows and special needs strollers. Members have access to the "New To You" items donated by members as well as subsidized rates on family programs, parenting workshops, and First Aid/CPR training.
The Children'sEmergency Fund provides help to members whose children require medical or financial assistance. An assessment form must be completed in order for the CEF to make an informed decision.
TTMAC members may submit 'For Sale' or 'Wanted' ads free of charge to the Multiplicity Newsletter.
TTMAC has several brochures and booklets available to assist with some of the concerns of raising multiple children.
